Hlanganani Preparatory School celebrated Youth Day last week Thursday on the
15th of June 2023.
This year marks 47 years since the 1976 student uprising. At a special assembly
learners performed different items, such as praise poetry, dance and a play as part of
the day’s programme. The teachers entertained the learners with a dance and the
School choir sang for the school.
“Youth Day is not just a holiday but something to always remember and respect” said
Nomnotho Zulu who was the event Programme Director.
The event was graced by the presence of Mrs Mfenzi Mahlaka and Mrs Slindile Zulu
who made this day fun, sharing the word of God with the learners. Thank you to Mrs
Mahlaka and Mrs Zulu for giving up their time to be with us.
The assembly ended with the National anthem.
All assessments have been completed and we are looking forward to the holiday.
School closes on 23 June 2023 at 10:30 and we wish everyone a very safe, happy
holiday.
