Grade 4 learners paid a short visit to the local museum on Tuesday 19 February Learners were intrigued by clothing, apparatus and technology used in days gone by. They were treated to talks and a guided tour by the guides present. learners were accompanied by their Social Sciences teacher, Mr Taurai Zamani and Mrs Neela Reddy. Learners are bringing items of days gone by for a class display at school.
The test for the table – thon has been written, the prizes a mountain bike, a tablet and three stationery hampers have been displayed. It is time for the monies donated to be paid in now. An appeal is made to parents to pay all monies collected to the school.
The parents are reminded of the open day on Saturday 9 March.
Parents, if you are Spar shopper please be reminded to drop your till slip into the school box at Harbour View Spar. A sizable voucher was used to purchase stationery items from the store.
A new maintenance officer has begun his employment at the school Mr Gerhard Conradie began on Monday 25 February. He is welcomed and wished a pleasant stay.
