Last week Wednesday the Grade 2 Reading club with Mrs Heydricks. Received
certificates for their hardwork and dedication.
The school feels blessed to have Jané Heydricks giving her time to the Grade 2 learners
with a reading programme. Thanks to Mrs Heydricks for helping the learners improve their
reading skills.
Hlanganani Preparatory School held a special assembly last Friday to award certificates to
learners who showed great dedication, tremendous effort and were members of the
different sporting codes. Learners received certificates for reading, neatness, fellowship,
discipline and sports among others.
Special mention must be made of the following learners who excelled in the Lower South
Coast Athletics meet held at Creston College last term where Amahle Magxala got first
place in the U12 girls 100m and Thatho Moloi came second in the U12 boys 100m. We
are very proud of Anothe Zamxaka 1 st U8 boys, Okuhle Mpana 2 nd U13 boys, Aphile
Mzelemu 3 rd U11 girls and Sbonga Mchunu 1 st U11 boys who competed against 7 other
schools in Cross-country events held over Term 3. Well done!
They all worked well this year and were congratulated by staff, parents and the principal at
assembly.
