This year we celebrated Valentine’s Day in style on the 14th of February, learners were
asked to create Valentine’s Gift cards, write poems and write stories about Valentines.
They were able to learn and at the same time enjoy Valentine’s Day.
On the 15th of February the learners wore civvies. The school was red and white on
Thursday as the learners celebrated Valentine’s Day. As it was our fundraising day,
plenty of food and refreshments were on sale. We had a concert for the learners who
wanted to enter and they were soon ready to participate in the dance, lip sync and
modelling extravaganza. It was a day full of fun and learning activities. The day ended on a
very happy note for some of the learners who received prizes as winners in the modelling,
lip sync and dance competition.
All the best to our volleyball teams as they participate in the first tournament of the year on
Saturday.
We would like to thank Protrans for widening our road and making it safer for our learners
to get to school.
