The school held a short assembly on the 10th November 2023. Certificates of Competence in First Aid were given to the five teachers (Mrs Claudia Mqadi, Miss Moline Makhombe, Miss Nosipho Ntobela, Mr Wonderboy Luthuli and Mr Sibusiso Mbili) and two learners ( Ayabonga Mncwabe and Mpilwenhle Dlamini) . A hamper of goodies was won by Obuhle Mthembu.
The school feels blessed to have Mrs Jané Heydricks giving her time to the Grade 2 learners with a reading programme. Last week she gave all the learners in this programme certificates to end off the year. Learners have improved their reading skills through this reading programme. Congratulations on completing the programme. Grade 6 learners were selected as Monitors. They will shadow the Prefects of 2023 to give them a taste of what they will encounter before they are appointed as Prefects for 2024.
We would like to congratulate them on their selection. On the last day of term 3, a Heritage day art competition took place from Grade 4-7. Congratulations to our artists who designed their Heritage Day cap. They are Lwazi Nyawose (Gr 7), Zamokuhle Ngcaba (Gr 6), Melokuhle Shangase (Gr 5) and Lwandle Nyawose (Gr 4).
We are very proud of Thandolwethu Thole, a Grade 7 learner, who has reached out to the school to collect non-perishable food for the homeless. Thank you to those learners who have brought food for this worthy cause. Our exams are almost finished and we thank the Parents for supporting and encouraging their child during this stressful time.
