Thembelihle Zulu a former learner at Hlanganani addressed learners at assembly on Friday 15 June. She emphasized 3 facets of education: vision, focus and hard work.
Thembelihle attended the school of Hlanganani from Grade 00 all the way to Grade 7 (in 2008). She said that she received her Bachelor of Business Sciences degree from the university of Cape Town (UCT) in 2017.
She is currently pursuing her Masters in Development Finance at the UCT Graduate School of Business. She is also a 2018 Mandela Rhodes Scholar an institute which seeks to empower young leaders from across the African continent. She is passionate about education, entrepreneurship and development and hopes to use this to impact the lives of others.
She attributes much of her success to the foundation that Hlanganani School helped her set in her academic and personal life.
