Practical science activities have a huge significance in the learning process. These activities
engage learners, make them understand the process of scientific investigation and
understanding scientific concepts.
Grade 7 learners at Hlanganani Preparatory completed their Natural Sciences formal
practical assessment where they had to test different substances to determine if they are
acids based or neutrals.
‘’The practicals will cultivate interest in sciences and help learners to acquire skills that will
open doors to sciences as a profession’’ said Mr Sibusiso Mbili (Natural Sciences teacher).
These practical tasks forms part of Term 2 assessments.
