A splendour of colour greeted everyone at the weekly Friday assembly last week.
Hlanganani Preparatory school celebrated Heritage Day as the school will
be closed on 24 September 2024. Learners and educators dressed up in their colourful
traditional attire.
It was a day full of fun and activities for learners and teachers. Everyone enjoyed different
traditional items, such as praise poetry, amahubo, gum-boot dance, Zulu and, Indian
dance, Sotho and Tshwana dance.
Learners also enjoyed listening and singing along to cultural songs.
The under 11 and Under 13 Boys and Girls soccer teams visited Creston College on
Saturday, 14 September 2024, for a soccer tournament.
The learners showed great teamwork and dedication winning some of the matches.
All the teams represented our school well as they displayed excellent sportsmanship on
and off the field. The matches were a huge success.
Well done to all the learners and committed coaches for building up chthe Hlanganani
School pride and spirit.
