Two of our learners participated in the EMS competition at Marburg Secondary on
Tuesday 20 August 2024. Asanda Malunga and Asanda Nene represented the school and
did us proud. Unfortunately, they did not make it to the next round.
Hlanganani Preparatory School held an exciting inter-house sports day last week at Suid-
Natal High School. The three competing houses, Sharks, Whales and Dolphins challenged
each other in a friendly rivalry.
Learners dressed in their house colours – blue for Dolphins, black for Whales and red for
Sharks. Grade R to 7 participated in a variety of races for their age group like 100m, 200m,
dress up, egg-and-spoon, donkey derby, fill the bucket and relay.
Parents also participated in a 100m race. It really was a wonderful day and the school
thanks Suid-Natal High for allowing us to use their field. We also thank the staff, parents
and learners who made it so enjoyable and successful.
