To ensure everyone at school is aware of what to do in any emergency, we practised an extremely well-executed emergency drill that took place last Thursday. On Friday the 11th of August 2023 the school was a blaze of colours, as learners donned their superhero outfits that included celebrating Women’s Day by dressing up as the woman in your life. Educators and learners assembled to sing different songs and to listen to the word of God.
As part of the Roots & Shoots programme, Hlanganani is now proud to have a beautiful small vegetable garden that is well-maintained by the Estate staff. A big thank you to Anna from Roots & Shoots for donating the seeds. The main aim is to increase the size of the garden and to teach learners how to grow crops.
