Creative Arts in school is studied to help learners express themselves using senses,
emotions and observations. The learners love to be creative; they learn by drawing
things in their own way. They are able to focus on the creation of art without
interruption.
Hlanganani Preparatory School learners (Grade 3 and 4) with the help of their
teachers created interesting art (making an art caterpillar and art mobile). This will
make learners love and understand art.
At the same time the senior phase learners were encouraged to prioritize reading by
following DEAR – Drop Everything and Read. They have to read at least one hour a
day to prepare for the upcoming exams.
