Learners received a surprise gift for winter early in June. Mrs Hessie du Toit, a former educator at the school, together with a group of volunteers, knitted beanies for the entire School roll and for staff members as well.
The woollen beanies are blue in colour and is a welcome addition to the learner’s winter home wardrobe. The learners and staff are very grateful to Mrs du Toit and her helpers.
Miss Tyrese Manisunker, a contestant in the Empress South Africa competition, visited School on Friday 7 June with a story book for each child in grade R. A total of 12 books were donated. The little ones were delighted with their new books. Thank you, Miss Manisunker,
